CARHARTT STOREFRONT

2020 - 2020

After I built the Little Carhartt "C" for their Design Building, I was approached by the manager of the Detroit Storefront - 2nd floor project. They requested a similar concept but at a much larger scale and only utilizing pieces that have actually been used - consumer facing. After reaching out to many companies requesting pricing and timing, I landed on a local company to help supply the large scale plexiglass needed for this project. I then worked with our trims and packaging teams to gather the correct pieces needed to fill out the "C" shape.

Standing in at 5' X 8', I built out the shape, glued down all the pieces and then worked with the Retail Design Team to go through the logistics of hanging from the wall within the storefront.

I also was lucky to work with the retail design team and concept a physical piece showcased in the company timeline depicting the K87 t-shirt as a legacy piece within Carhartt's history. Working with our sewing production company located in Kentucky, I proto-typed the idea digitally and helped bring this idea to life.
