I was brought onto the Design Resource Team at Carhartt as a contractor as their Presentation Designer. My major job tasks were rebranding and producing the Product DNA book, building out 3 key areas within the Design Building with individually designed installations, and various other minor projects.
Since then, the scope of my position has morphed into so much more. I have taken on the job of building out large scale version of one of my installation ideas for their Detroit storefront. I've collaborated with their Retail storefront Design Team on building out ideas for the Detroit Storefront. Carhartt's Sales Team was in need of many Sales Tools to take to their strategic accounts for both Spring and Fall assortments. After working with my Manager for 8 months, she gave me the responsibility of redesigning and laying out the Carhartt Color By Style book for the Sales Team. This quickly turned the gears to produce individual RFP proposals for many companies looking to utilize Carhartt's Company Gear program such as Ford, Pilot Flying J, Vivint Solar, Seabulk and many others.
